upload my own artwork for my own use

As in, if I upload my own artwork to the game, I don't want it to be sold in the Market. I don't want people to buy and use it as their character's "appearance".

Each alter ego is supposed to be different in appearance from one another. Take mine, for example... no one wear the exact same equipment as she does. I'm not too fond with the thought that my elf have the same face as, say, an elf that just joined to Tweeria. I want to be allowed to upload my own artwork freely, for my own use, so that I can update the artwork each time my alter ego wears different armors.

Let me ask how the others or the game itself would win from proposed option. How can that contribute to the game' or community?

Players can enjoy 'design' the appearance of their alter ego and this may attract the attention of artists, like, "oh, I can play and show off my artwork at the same time!". Those artist-player may also eventually be interested in contributing to the game? As in, "I've done so many artworks for my own character... maybe it's time to make one for general use and contribute it to the game."

I came here to propose the exactly same thing. It would be a lot of fun to design my character for myself, but if I put so much work into it, I don't want my artwork for _my_ character to be usable by others. I don't mind creating another set or more for 'public' use, but the option to use one set of design privately would make it more enjoyable for me personally. If you're worried that players only design for themselves and not contribute (I don't think that would be a problem, in fact, I think it would motivate artists to play and share), you could enable this as a feature only for artists who, I don't know, contributed either an accepted character design for the market or three items?
